The title of this film, the makers helpfully reminds us, means obsession. Junooniyat but only demonstrates that obsession with the romance is a bad name.
Same-old pappy film, Pyaar Ke dushman up against some substantial tells the story of a pair of young lovers.
The latter department, predictably, a father and his daughter thinks he's an innocent NRI groom who walks into a wedding ceremony, family in tow, lacking unaware that death is not to tie the knot with his bride are embodied by the owner.
This is the main Junooniyat. It's fluffy poetry and an army captain and a college girl screechy song resorts thrive in the intensity of love. The dramatic results in terms of attraction is zilch.
Lovebirds, on their behalf, and the absurdity of the overwhelming emotions yo-yo as they struggle to get their lives in order.
In one scene, unwanted suitor wing from Canada (Gulshan Devaiah a special appearance in the little that is half-baked character) who is supposed to marry the girl he was with a Ferris wheel.
We will go up and come down, but we will be all right, he assured his future wife.Junooniyat thing was, he most definitely would have left out the bit up and be fine. The film travels down into that direction.
Here's how and why. Amritsar girl Suhani Kapoor (Yami, Gautam) slinks away to the Himalayas for a Christmas camp and went for a swim on a hot sulfur lake. For no apparent reason, he loses his bearings.
Army captain Jahan Bakshi (Pulkit Samrat) Sonmarg stationed comes to rescue him when the baby seems to be perfectly healthy to come and help.
Neither he nor the apparent danger of drowning any type of pain he is. Lo and behold, a well-rested, he was fished out of the water like a mermaid.

Kiran Bedi, who has made it big in his city, Kapil Sharma and Sidhu paaji rattling off a bunch of names, including the residents, the heroine of Amritsar "smart people" lack of information.
Ruhani definitely the way he keeps getting in trouble with the army and his family was not the same.
His college mates seem to be just as daft. One of them is wrong to say that nothing ever love. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day, at the time, he explained. Do not ask what is the connection between the heart and the like clockwork!

It is cloying sentimentality that sometimes pleasantly surprising result of the pursuit is not complete. But miracles do not expect any kind of Junooniyat.
